    Do you have experience backing, breaking, parking trailers?


    Outlaw Conversions is seeking experienced forklift operator who can effectively multi-task in fast pace manufacturing plant. While working with the production line, the forklift operator will primarily assist with the moving of trailers from bay to bay, will check in new trailers for production and will assist in the check-out process of finished trailers as they are picked up by customers. The forklift operator will be part of the maintenance team and assist maintenance department in grounds keeping and other maintenance tasks as part of a secondary job function. Position requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping. Position requires occasional lifting up to 45lbs. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of Texas weather conditions.

    Primary Job Duties – What you will do

    • Meet drivers on the front lot with new trailer drop-offs for check-in.
    • Conduct check-in by inspecting the trailer and completing forms that detail the status and condition of the new trailer drop off.
    • Facilitate communication between driver and sales/production team
    • Pull the new trailer into production assigned area
    • Work with production supervisors & employees to move trailers from one area of production to the next
    • Ensure the proper, safe, and efficient movement of trailers
    • Pull finished trailer to front parking lot to check-out the trailer with pick-up driver
    • Conduct check-out process – help driver hook up to trailer, perform walk-around with driver, and complete check-out documents.
    Secondary Job Duties – What you may do
    • Assist in the maintenance of the facility by emptying trash bins, sweeping the front lot, discarding materials, and normal cleaning duties.
    • Assist warehouse in the unloading of raw materials when warehouse staff is short handed
    Required
    • Previous forklift driving experience
    • Pass the forklift certification test
    • Pass a background check
    • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
    • Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shift
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and check-in/check-out sheets
    • Must have legible handwriting
    • Ability to speak effectively and use walkie in a manner that displays professionalism with customers
    • Ability to work independently & with a team
    • Ability to take direction
    • Ability to handle fast-pace, high-stress job demands
    Preferred
    • Experience in working in a warehouse environment
    • Experience in performing basic operations such as driving forward, driving backward, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product.
    • Experience in working in a team environment
    • Class B license
