A way to maintain a healthy mind and body is the practice of prenatal yoga. We will focus on poses specifically for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. This class will also help pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor. Prenatal yoga is good for overall wellness. It is a form of exercise that also speaks to your pregnancy wellness.     Now being held at Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) a research-based Diabetes Prevention Program is held every Tuesday, beginning January 7, 2020. The year-long lifestyle intervention program is based on the National Diabetes Prevention Program created in 2010. This program focuses on healthy eating and activity; participants cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by approximately 58% (71% for people over 60 years of age). The program is offered free to adults (over 18 years of age) who meet certain requirements. Participants commit to a weekly, one-hour session every Tuesday in one of two sessions offered, at 2:00 PM or 5:30 PM.     Now being held at Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC) a research-based Diabetes Prevention Program is held every Tuesday, beginning January 7, 2020. The year-long lifestyle intervention program is based on the National Diabetes Prevention Program created in 2010. This program focuses on healthy eating and activity; participants cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by approximately 58% (71% for people over 60 years of age). The program is offered free to adults (over 18 years of age) who meet certain requirements. Participants commit to a weekly, one-hour session every Tuesday in one of two sessions offered, at 2:00 PM or 5:30 PM.
