Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis and scaling/root planning
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Document patient care and findings in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with dentists and other care team members to coordinate treatment
- Comply with infection control, OSHA, Joint Commission and HIPAA standards
- Assist with community outreach and oral health education initiatives, as needed
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
- Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
- Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Thursday; no weekends or evenings required)
