              Event Description:

              Celebrate Rodeo Week with Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council for "Art of the Cowgirl"!

              *Art of the Cowgirl Exhibits:
                     -CTFAC Gallery: "The Art of Hide & Heritage" -featuring the works of Judy Parton & Sara Mize Tuesday, September 8 - Saturday, September 26 (open during business hours)
                     -Stephenville Public Library Gallery: "Life Between the Ears" -art work of Sarah Sossaman & Students -Tuesday, September 8 - Saturday, September 26 (open during business hours)
                     -County Annex III Gallery:  "Spirit of the West" - CTFAC Resident Artists- Tuesday, September 8 – Friday, September 25 (Mon-Fri 8a-4p)
                     -Stephenville Airport Gallery: "Western Legacies" - miscellaneous local artists (Mon-Fri 8a-5p; Sat 9a-4p)

              *Rodeo Artist Reception: Monday, September 21st - 4p-6p (@CTFAC Gallery)

              *Art of the Cowgirl Luncheon: Thursday, September 17 -12n-2p - featuring guest speaker, Tarleton Alum, Shelbi Tidwell, Director of Product Development at Justin Brands, Inc. (Luncheon at Cross Timbers Legacy Center followed by dessert & cordials at CTFAC's Gallery). Tickets go on sale Tuesday, August 4th - $75 per ticket; $1,000 per table of 8.
