Tarleton President Dr. James Hurley and Dr. Steve Damron, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, will comment on the state-of-the-art center and its impact on higher education in North Texas. Tarleton Provost Dr. Karen Murray will emcee.
The multipurpose facility is part of $11 million in improvements and modernization of existing facilities damaged in a spring 2016 tornado. The center includes a merchandizing laboratory — The Purple Tractor — that offers meats, vegetables and plants to the public.
A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce and tours of the building will follow remarks.
