              Event Description:

              Tarleton State University College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences invites you to join them in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new high-tech Animal & Plant Sciences Center with a ribbon cutting, tours and remarks from community leaders and school officials!

              Tarleton President Dr. James Hurley and Dr. Steve Damron, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, will comment on the state-of-the-art center and its impact on higher education in North Texas. Tarleton Provost Dr. Karen Murray will emcee.

              The multipurpose facility is part of $11 million in improvements and modernization of existing facilities damaged in a spring 2016 tornado. The center includes a merchandizing laboratory — The Purple Tractor — that offers meats, vegetables and plants to the public.

              A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce and tours of the building will follow remarks.
