Erath County Habitat for Humanity presents A Voice for Habitat 2019 Singing Competition

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Erath County Habitat for Humanity will host A Voice for Habitat 2019 Singing Competition at Twisted J Live on Friday, October 4, 2019 featuring celebrity judges Courtney Patton and Jason Eady. A third judge has yet to be selected but will also be a music industry professional.

Erath County Habitat for Humanity is proud to bring A Voice for Habitat to Stephenville for the first time. A Voice for Habitat will give one talented contestant a chance to win $1,000, have a song professionally recorded by Melody Mountain Studios, and be an opening act at a Twisted J Live show. Other prizes include $500 for second place and $250 for third.

A Voice for Habitat is open to all ages and genres of music. Contestants will compete in video and live audition rounds in hopes of becoming a finalist in the live show on October 4th. Contestant registration is open online until August 30th.  Aspiring singers can learn more about the contest during an In-Person Contestant Registration Day to be held on August 10th at Studio 6:14.

The fans also get to have “A Voice for Habitat” through the people’s choice judging. Once the finalists are determined for the live show on October 4th, fans can vote for their favorite contestant on the Erath County Habitat for Humanity website. Voting will be done by donation under the name of the finalist of their choice. The people's choice judging will count as 25% of the final score for each finalist and will close shortly after the final performance.

This is Erath County Habitat for Humanity’s first large-scale fundraising event. They are very proud to create such a wonderful opportunity for singers looking to take their career to the next level and to bring an exciting live show to the people of Stephenville.
