Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC), comanchecmc.org, is a nonprofit healthcare organization which serves as the hub of a growing rural health system in the heart of Texas. The system features: a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with 24/7 Level-4 ER, general surgery, four primary care and family medicine clinics with staff doctors and advanced practice providers, pediatrician, three retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacy services, physician specialists, physical therapy facilities and wellness centers, swing bed skilled nursing facility, diagnostic imaging and radiology, and 24/7 laboratory. Outpatient services include: cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, chronic care management, infusion therapy, hand specialist and wound care clinic. Other services: cancer and lung screenings, occupational health programs, diabetic care and education, and community health events. CCMC is the Administrator to the Comanche County Consolidated Hospital District which operates county-wide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) including ambulances and first responders in both Comanche and De Leon, medical buildings, Whitestone Assisted Living center, and the new Legacy Estate Long Term Care center.
