    Position Summary

    254 Print is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) who also contributes to inside sales growth and email marketing campaigns.

    This role is the front line of customer interaction while actively driving revenue through relationship building, upselling, and outbound communication.
    This position requires someone who can work independently, take ownership of the day-to-day front office, and create a warm, welcoming experience for every customer—whether in person, on the phone, or via email.
     

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service & Order Management

    • Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist walk-in customers
    • Provide quotes for print and signage projects
    • Enter and manage orders in CRM/POS system
    • Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure accuracy and timelines
    • Follow up with customers on proofs, approvals, and completed jobs
    • Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently

    Inside Sales

    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (banners, signage, apparel, promo items, etc.)
    • Proactively follow up on quotes to close sales
    • Re-engage past customers to generate repeat business
    • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses
    • Track leads, opportunities, and sales activity in CRM (HubSpot or similar)
    • Assist in meeting monthly revenue and sales goals

    Email Marketing Campaigns

    • Execute email marketing campaigns (promotions, seasonal offers, customer reactivation)
    • Build and maintain customer email lists within CRM
    • Use templates to send sales emails and promotional campaigns
    • Track campaign performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions)
    • Coordinate messaging with current sales priorities
    • Assist in developing campaign ideas targeting key customer segments

    Qualifications

    • Previous customer service experience (print or signage industry preferred)
    • Sales mindset with ability to confidently recommend products and close deals
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a friendly, customer-first demeanor
    • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision
    • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multitask
    • Comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot experience a plus)
    • Basic understanding of print products is helpful but not required (training provided)

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Hourly pay based on experience
    • Structured performance-based raises at 90, 180, and 360 days
    • Opportunity to transition into a salary position after the first year, based on performance
    • Performance-based incentives tied to sales and campaign success
