    Job Description
    A BA or BS degree or higher degree in a social science, human science or closely related field or documented experience in a nonprofit or agency setting with experience in providing employee supervision.  Ability to work effectively an independently with others; ability to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate advocacy supervisors and volunteer advocates performance; ability to recruit and train potential volunteer advocates; ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
    Primary Duties include: Management of volunteer advocates, including but not limited to recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating the volunteer advocates. Development and maintenance of effective working relationships with DFPS, attorneys, and judges to ensure the best interest of foster children is achieved. Maintains all program data.
    Provide all services within the agency’s stated purpose and in such a manner that optimum results are achieved in relation to the resources of the agency.  Also, provide program support as needed in areas such as public awareness, office management, and alternative financial sources.  Some travel and periodic nights and weekends required.
