INDUSTRIAL FINISHING TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday
7:30 am - 4:00 pm, must be able to work overtime
$17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist in the industrial coating process, including preparing parts for paint and coating applications.
- Tape, mask, and hang parts on racks for finishing and coating operations.
- Package finished parts for shipment and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
- Support fabrication and finishing areas as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts to load and unload materials and supplies.
- Maintain inventory logs, records, and basic documentation related to stock and materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during the workday.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and general shop equipment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workspace.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
