    Job Description

    Have you towed or backed a trailer or boat before? Are you comfortable parking, maneuvering, and working around trailers in a fast-paced environment? Outlaw Conversions is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support trailer movement and logistics within our manufacturing facility.

    This role is critical to keeping production moving efficiently. The Forklift Operator will assist with trailer check-ins, internal trailer movement between production bays, and final check-outs when customers pick up completed trailers. This position is also part of the maintenance team and will assist with facility upkeep as a secondary responsibility.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Meet drivers on the front lot to receive new trailer drop-offs
    • Perform trailer check-ins by inspecting condition and completing required documentation
    • Communicate effectively with drivers, sales staff, and production teams
    • Move new trailers to assigned production areas
    • Coordinate with production supervisors to move trailers through each stage of manufacturing
    • Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate trailer movement at all times
    • Move completed trailers to the front lot for customer pick-up
    • Assist drivers with trailer hook-ups and conduct walk-around inspections during check-out
    • Complete all check-out paperwork accurately
    • Support facility maintenance, including:
    • Emptying trash bins
    • Sweeping front lot and alley areas
    • Disposing of materials and general cleaning
    • Assist warehouse staff with unloading raw materials when needed

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    • Constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
    • Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying Texas weather conditions
    • Ability to stand and work 8–12 hour shifts

    Required Qualifications

    • Prior forklift operating experience
    • Ability to pass forklift certification testing
    • Experience towing, backing, and parking trailers preferred
    • Strong work ethic with attention to detail
    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and check-in/check-out documentation
    • Legible handwriting
    • Professional communication skills, including use of walkie-talkies with customers and staff
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to take direction and adapt to changing priorities
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
