              Event Description:

              Debra Lucas will conduct this special training for everyone interested in being a volunteer advocate to work directly with residents of Restoration Place! 

              Debra is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with women in domestic violence shelters, and will be able to provide excellent training. Anyone who is considering being a mentor to the residents or ministering to the women or children is encouraged to attend this training.
              The training will be held at the Cowboy Church which is large and will provide room for social distancing. They encourage wearing a mask, but will not require it.

              Restoration Place remodeling is almost complete and they plan to be ready to receive women by the end of August. According to Cross Timbers Family Services, the need is greater than usual. They are grateful and excited about being able to offer this training at this time.

              If possible, let them know by responding if you will be attending, so that they can plan for lunch.
