Veldhuizen Family Farm Day - CANCELED DUE TO MUD!

Note from the Veldhuizens:
Unfortunately and sadly we are making the call to cancel Farm Day yet again this Saturday June 8th. There has been so much rain including another another storm overnight. Our ground in completely saturated and there is too much mud in the fields for parking and hay rides. We are sorry to cancel again at the last minute. Mother Nature has thrown us a curve ball. Thank you so much. We are so sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused.

The Cheese Shoppe will be open for tastings and our regularly scheduled tour at 10:30 am.

Veldhuizen Farm will be hosting their annual Family Farm Day!

Come enjoy farm tours, demonstrations, hay rides, products form local producers, a petting corral, and much, much more!

Bring the family out to the farm here in Dublin on Saturday, June 8th, 10am-4pm! We will be hosting our 6th Family Farm Day. This is a fun and family friendly event designed for families to learn more about local farming and food production.

There will be a variety of classes and workshops.

Tours of the farm and cheese making facilities will be given throughout the day.

Hayrides will be given throughout the day.

There will be a kids play area set up with our staff giving supervision so parents can explore other activities.

We will have a petting coral set up for the kids to hang out with the animals!

There will be local farm vendors here to meet you and let you sample and purchase their products. There will be lots of great raw milk artisan cheeses for you to taste.

Food for lunch will be available for purchase along with some baked goodies and other snack items.
