What: Dedication of Texan Trace. The trace extends from North Lillian Street to Shirley Street and is part of Tarleton’s 2020 Master Plan. Texan Trace is one of several pedestrian friendly walkways across the Stephenville campus designed to accommodate a growing campus. As part of the construction, aging infrastructure was replaced and upgraded. Power lines were moved underground, and storm drainage was installed.
Who: Dr. John Pelham, Tarleton alumnus, former president of the Tarleton Alumni Association and poet, will read a poem he wrote specifically for the occasion. Tarleton President F. Dominic Dottavio and current TAA President Ken Dorris also will speak.
