Come join us for the Pursuit of Purple at the Tarleton College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Tarleton State College Farm.
Pursuit of Purple is a prospect steer show organized and hosted by Tarleton students.
Proceeds from event are used to host the next year's show, with the long-term goal of providing scholarships to students completing internships in their last semester.
- Steer weigh-in is 6-8 p.m. on April 22.
- Steers show on April 23, with weigh-in available from 6-8 a.m. No weigh-back.
- Heifers show on April 24, with check-in the night before and morning of at same times as steers.
Event will take place at Tarleton's College Farm in the Equestrian Barn and will be show off the trailer.
Selected date misses Tarleton Stampede and LJT, so hotel availability should be improved from previous event.
Level of fitting for steers and heifers is exhibitors' choice.
