In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Together we are helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. Now we ask you to help Tarleton students. Many of our students have lost their jobs and are struggling to pay rent and utilities as well as buy food and gas. And, in many cases their parents can’t step up to help them because they are facing the same challenges. Can you imagine trying to attend your classes online when you’re not sure if you can pay the electric bill to keep your laptop on? What about making the choice to buy groceries or a meal? Or study when you might soon be homeless?
We’ve already heard from almost 700 students and are helping as many as possible. One student gratefully said, “I’m almost in tears of relief. Thank you so much.”
