    New Tai Chi Classes for Health & Wellness is being offered at the Stephenville Senior Citizens Center.  What is Tai Chi?  is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow continuous movements with deep breathing,  Tai Chi for Rehabilitation (TCR) is a shorter easier form that has been modified so anyone can do it, as well as people recovering from an illness or injury.  TCR can be done standing, seated or lying down,  The benefits of Tai Chi are: fall prevention, increased flexibility, improved posture and balance, improved muscle strength and endurance, boast heart and respiratory health, improves focus, and decreases stress, anxiety, and depression.. 

    For this class, you will need to wear loose comfortable clothing w/ well-fitted flat shoes.
