In recognition of National Social Work Month, we invite you to join us as we honor the professional & aspiring social workers working with Christian Women's Job Corps of Dublin as we educate, empower and serve women in need. 

Tarleton State University social work students Jenifer Wilkes, Latisha Melton & Alejandra Moreno will present "Second Chance Stance," a proposed amendment to House Bill 3016, "The Second Chance Bill."

The students will lobby state lawmakers in Austin to include non-violent felony offenders in those qualified to overcome their past through non-disclosure of criminal history for the purpose of obtaining employment once their commitment has been served.

CWJC of Dublin will also honor master-level social work students from University of Texas at Arlington, staff and board social workers, and our community partner social workers who are working with participants as they navigate pathways toward a brighter future.
