Safe Sitter® prepares children over the age of 11 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.
Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice CPR and choking rescue.
Please be sure to bring the completed Registration Form with you to class. Lunch vouchers, water and snacks will be provided. Please bring money if you would like to visit the snack and drink machines. Bringing a light jacket is encouraged, in the event the room is cold.
Students need to bring a sack lunch. Snacks and Drinks will be supplied.
Located at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville, Community Outreach Classroom 2.
REFUND POLICY: To receive a refund you must cancel your class two weeks prior to the start of the class.
BAD WEATHER
During bad weather, please call (254) 965-1262 and listen to the recorded message to find out if your class is cancelled. If bad weather occurs on the day of your scheduled class, you will receive an email and or phone call regarding class cancellations. If your class was cancelled, please call 1-877-THR-WELL (1-877-847-9355) to reschedule.
