    Event Description:

    Learn the basics of drone operation, and dive into the FAA 107 regulations that direct the industry.

    A comprehensive course to get you on your way to becoming a licensed drone pilot being offered at Erath County Ranger College.

    Required Equipment:
    • Smart phone or Tablet
    Test/Test Prep:
    • Test cost is covered with the course
    • Day 2 of program will detail FAA 107 regulations, which is required for licensing
    • Test must be completed and passed within 60 days
    Certification & Credit:
    • All individuals who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Ranger College, as well as 2.5 Continuing Education Units
    • The Certificate of Completion does not equate licensing. You will have the opportunity to take the 107 FAA test to obtain proper licensing.
    Eligibility:
    • Any sole proprietor or employee of a small-business as defined by the state of Texas
    *The grant does require the reporting of your tax id or TWC account number*
