Each $5 meal will include a hamburger, condiments, cheese/veggies, chips & dessert.
Did you know:
- $5 feeds 1 hungry Erath County child for a weekend
- Weekends can mean hunger for many area kids who depend on school meals for primary nutrition.
- Each Friday, Backpack Buddies of Erath County delivers bags of child-friendly, non-perishable food to area schools to be sent home with students most at risk of weekend hunger.
- This month, Backpack Buddies is providing
- weekend food for 200 of our children.
- Weekend food for each child in the program costs:
- $30 for 6-week $90 for one semester $180 for school year
Many local volunteers are helping with this fundraiser
Backpack Buddies by donating proceeds from this event to feed
Erath County Kids in Erath County Schools.
