Last year the Mayor's Breakfast raised $15,000 to support Scouting in the Texas Trails Council, BSA. This includes Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts and Exploring.
There are two Cub Scout packs, four Scouts BSA troops and two Explorer Posts in Erath County serving youth from a variety of backgrounds with the proven leadership, character development, and outdoor programs from Kindergarten through age 20.
The Texas Trails Council led the nation in 2018 in membership growth and is posed for another increase in 2019.
