              To level the playing field in the federal marketplace for Women Owned and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (WOSB/EDWOSB), the federal government has established a 5 percent goal. Why should women take advantage of this unique opportunity?

              In FY18, the government awarded 4.75% or $22.5 billion dollars in federal contracts to WOSB/EDOWSB. Women entrepreneurs left .25% of federal contracting opportunities on the table; that translates to $5.625 billion dollars.
