Come support the fightin' dog Hank's medical bills to correct a fractured & dislocated spine.
Hank came to PAWS after being hit by a car. The damage was severe as he took a very hard hit and fractured and dislocated his spine. He had to see a specialist in Arlington for a Mylo CT to assess the damage. These are very expensive but we felt like Hank was such a fighter we wanted to give him a chance. The first specialist found the fracture and sent him to another specialist in Grapevine who specializes in these kinds of surgeries. They gave him a 50/50 chance to walk again but agreed he was such a special dog! They have all fallen in love with Hank.
He made it though surgery well, has been a wonderful patient and has shown nothing but how thankful he is even after all he has been through. As this was such an extensive and evasive surgery he is still in the hospital and under doctors care.
Pet Supplies Plus has graciously offered a way for us to raise money on Saturday, November 19th by donating all proceeds from their dog wash station all day!! The cost is $10: you can wash and dry your pet and they donate the entire $10!!
ALL proceeds will go straight to the Specialists for Hanks medical bills. He has a wonderful foster family who are just waiting for him to come home and finish living out a great life with them.
