    Event Description:
    Fossil Rim's education department will host a World Rhino Day version of our free FRED Talks at the Front Gate. We plan to have a rhino crate, black rhino boot and a white rhino skull to show our guests. We will have informational displays about the five types of rhinos. There will also be four interactive activities: painting your name on our wooden rhino, color an emery board to keep that will remind you rhino horn is made from the same protein as our fingernails, color and keep an informational rhino bookmark, plus either take home a 2018 World Rhino Day button or draw your own rhino to create a button.

    Fossil Rim volunteers will give special tours focusing on our white rhino yard, which will cost $10 per person with the funds going toward the care of our Fossil Rim rhinos.
