Foster’s Home for Children would like to invite you and your congregation to an information meeting on October 22 at 6:30 at the Stephenville Church of the Nazarene to discuss our ministry to recruit, train, and license foster families here in our area. There are currently 1500 kids in foster care in the area that Foster’s serves with only 790 homes to serve them.
The mission of Foster’s is “Providing Sanctuary and healing to children of trauma.” The leadership of Foster’s believes the foster care ministry will continue to add to and strengthen our mission to help hurting children and families. We also believe the Church plays a pivotal role in this mission as well. We would love for you and your congregation to partner with us and be part of our mission.
The purpose of this meeting is to give you more information on the need for foster families in this area and to discuss the process it takes to become a licensed foster family.
