The Tarleton State University Student Nurses' Association invites you to join us for the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees.
The Festival of Trees event is an evening of holiday fun that is open to the community, Tarleton campus, and local businesses in Stephenville. The event will consist of a night of free food and refreshments, pictures with Santa, Christmas music, and an array of Christmas trees that are decorated by Tarleton’s very own Student Organizations. A winter wonderland of sorts, so to say!
Businesses are invited to attend the event to bid on a Christmas tree to keep in your lobby for the duration of the Christmas season. The silent auction will be open starting at 5:00 pm and closing at 8:30 pm. These trees are eligible as a tax write off, are already decorated and bonus...WE DELIVER TO YOU! Please consider attending our event this Christmas season to find YOUR TREE!
The Student Nurse’s Association is essentially the student representation of our Nursing department on campus. We are a collective of nursing students ranging from incoming freshman pursuing a degree in nursing to those graduating this very semester. We are an organization founded upon extensive community service, networking, and professional development. Some of the community services we provide are Backpack Buddies partnered with a local church to feed the students of Stephenville, the Erath County Humane Society, the Magic Yarn Project, BLS classes offered to all TSU students and community, Flu Shot Clinics, Mock Malpractice Trial, and Blood Drives.
A 25 percent of the proceeds generated from this event will be invested back into our participating student organizations for them to redistribute to the charity or philanthropy of their choice. The rest of the generated proceeds will be used to aid in funding our organizations participation in community services and outreach!
Please consider attending our event this Christmas season with your family and/or business to aid the community we serve and for a night of festive holiday fun!! We are excited to celebrate and kick off this season with you!!
Auction Details:
-Campus organizations will decorate trees prior to the event.
-Silent auction will be open for bidding from 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
-Trees will be delivered December 1-4 to the highest bidder and will remain on display in their lobby throughout the holiday season.
-Trees will be retrieved January 5, 2020
-Bids are tax deductible and will directly support the various missions of the Student Nurses' Association, including Magic Yarn Project, Backpack Buddies, and the Erath County Humane Society.
