Family Farm Day

Bring the family out to the farm here in Dublin on Saturday, October 28th 10am-4pm! We will be hosting our 4th Family Farm Day. This is a fun and family friendly event designed for families to learn more about local farming and food production.

There will be a variety of classes and workshops including:
-Keyhole organic gardening
-History of farming in America
-Farm life - where does our food come from?  (for children)
-Using Essential Oils
-Why Grass-Fed?
-All about Raw Milk

Demonstrations will be given including:
-Making fresh cheeses at home
-Making keifer

Tours of the farm and cheese making facilities will be given throughout the day.

Grandpa will be giving Hayrides through the day.

There will be a kids play area set up with our staff giving supervision so parents can explore other activities.

We will have a petting coral set up for the kids to hang out with the animals!

There will be local farm Vendors here to meet you and let you sample and purchase their products. Some are:

-Perderson's Natural Farms
-Hani Coffee
-SanSaba Olive Oil & Balsamics

There will be lot's of great raw milk artisan cheeses for you to taste, and we will have lot's of the dairy produce available for sampling as well.

Food for lunch will be available for purchase. Along with some baked goodies and other snack items.
