    Event Description:

Clark Gardens is presenting "Dreams in Bloom": Photos by Fare Micue

The exhibit will be held in the Chapel in Clarks Gardens

A bilingual art exhibit that documents the hope and positivity of the human spirit will also be coming to Clark Gardens on March 1st.

The opening of the exhibit assists in kicking off the first Grow at Clark Gardens festival taking place the entire month of March.

Dreams in Bloom: Photos by Fares Micue features 15 dreamlike photography works set against dark, mysterious backgrounds.

The self-portraits, which integrate natural and surprising objects in vibrant hues, will be showcased through June 5th inside the Chapel at Clark Gardens.

The pieces will travel to Parker County from the Denver Botanic Gardens.

“We are honored to be able to highlight the works of Fares Micue right here in Weatherford, Texas,” McEntire said. “Micue’s photography is inspiring and we want to share it with our local communities.”

Micue is a self-taught artist that began her journey in photography in 2009 and has since focused on her practice of symbolism-infused compositions.

“My work is full of symbolism,” Micue said in a statement with the Denver Botanic Gardens.

“Every element in my compositions has a purpose, from the colors to the props to the body language.”

Living and working in Spain, Micue has received many international exhibition accolades.

General admission into Clark Gardens is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors ages 65 and older, $5 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children ages 3 and under.

Clark Gardens membership holders receive free admission year-round.
