              Event Description:

              Join us for the 3rd Annual Burgers for Backpack Buddies and help us provide
              #WeekendFood for hungry Erath County children throughout the school year!

              Each $5 burger meal comes with burger, chips & dessert.

              Did you know:
              • $5 feeds 1 hungry Erath County child for a weekend
              • Weekends can mean hunger for many area kids who depend on school meals for primary nutrition.
              • Each Friday, Backpack Buddies of Erath County delivers bags of child-friendly,
              • non-perishable food to area schools to be sent home with students most at risk of weekend hunger.
              • This month, Backpack Buddies is providing 
              • weekend food for 200 of our children.
              • Weekend food for each child in the program costs:
              • $30 for 6-week $90 for one semester $180 for school year

              Many local volunteers are helping with this fundraiser
              Backpack Buddies by donating proceeds from this event to feed
              Erath County Kids in Erath County Schools.
