This is a one day class.
Taught by a certified instructor, this class focuses on techniques that new moms and their partners can use to initiate breastfeeding and support their breastfeeding goals.
Topics discussed in the class include:
? Helpful breastfeeding techniques
? Recognizing early feeding cues
? Latching and positioning
? Pumping, collecting and storing milk
This class will be held in the Community Education Outreach Classroom 2, located north of the hospital. Please park in the parking lot in front of the building.
