    The Chamber is closely monitoring the Coronavirus status and staying in touch with community partners to keep our members informed and updated on the situation and any affect it may have on our area.

    CARR (City & Rural Rides) will provide FREE rides to get vaccinations as long as person scheduling lets the reservationist know that is the purpose for the ride.

    RENT / UTILITY ASSISTANCE:
    If you or someone you know needs assistance with personal rent or utility payments:

    United Cooperative Members ONLY:
    H.O.P.E. is administering an emergency relief fund for United Coop members requiring financial assistance due to the COVID-19 situation.
    Call 254-965-2700 Mon – Fri 9:00 am – Noon to set up an appointment.
    -Must have recent United Coop bill with member #
    -Provide letter from employer regarding hours cut or job eliminated
    -Funds can be used for rent, water, electric, prescriptions

    Local residents (that are NOT United Coop members)
    Erath County United Way has set up a COVID-19 Relief Fund to assist with rent and utilities for those that have been laid off or furloughed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

    You can make a gift now to the ECUW COVID-19 Community Response Fund by clicking on Tab “How to Help” then “GIVE “on www.erathcountyuw.org. 

     

    Many of our area churches are streaming worship services online through their Facebook page, YouTube channel, or website!
