    Event Description:
In keeping with the tradition of the past 39 years, Space City T’s, the Houston Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America is hosting their 39th Annual Texas T Party in Stephenville, Texas from Wednesday, September 28th through Saturday, October 1st, 2016. This is the second time their group will hold the event in Stephenville, the first time was in 2005. Over 75 Model T Fords and participants from all over Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, California and beyond will be celebrating the history of the Model T in Erath County and the surrounding areas.

For those of you who remember the days of the Model T’s and for those of you who would like to see and appreciate an important part of automotive history, there will be plenty of opportunity to observe these wonderful antique cars cruising through our area. This is your chance to see a variety of T’s all in one place, from the 1911 “brass” cars to the 1927 models there will be a variety of Coupes, Touring, Speedsters, Trucks, Tudors, Fordors and even a tanker truck! They even have a 1916 Centerdoor that will be celebrating its 100th Birthday!

The host hotel for this event is the Holiday Inn. They will depart from there each morning to the following destinations:
    • Wednesday, September 28th - to Dublin, Comanche, and DeLeon where they will stop at the Terrell’s Antique Car Museum
    • Thursday, September 29th - Granbury and Huckabay.  The group will have dinner in the Stephenville City Park. This will be a great opportunity for our community to see the cars all in one place.
    • Friday, September 30th, they head to Hico and then to Glen Rose for the day, ending with our banquet at the Agave Grill/City Hall.
    • Saturday, October 1st they will drive out to Ranger for the day to see the antique planes at the 10th Annual Fly-in.
    • Sunday morning they will all pack up and head home.
This is a great opportunity to see and appreciate these wonderful antiques up close. Feel free to ask questions of the owners / passengers - and YES, it’s OK to take pictures of the cars! They love to share with those that are young and old the stories of these great cars.
