    Name: Tarleton Round-Up

    Event Description:
The Department of Student Engagement at Tarleton State University is preparing to host the 20th annual Tarleton Round-Up on Saturday March 24th, 2018. The Tarleton Round-Up is a one day, student led, community wide clean up event with the mission of assisting the citizens of Stephenville and local businesses with projects such as raking leaves, trimming trees and bushes, pulling weeds, cleaning gutters, and routine maintenance. The Tarleton Round-Up is the kickoff event for Texans Team Up, a week dedicated to service and giving back to our community.

Tarleton Round-Up is a collaborative effort with the City of Stephenville, Progressive Waste, and others. In honor of Tarleton celebrating its centennial year, our goal is to have at least 1,899 student volunteers and complete a minimum of 189 service projects.  Local support is critical to our success as a program, these goals cannot be accomplished without the help of our community business owners. With the guided help and support from your business, we hope to provide the tools and equipment necessary to complete the job request for each site.
