Writing Refresher for Professionals

Do your coworkers complain about your email messages? Do you struggle getting the right words in the right place with the right punctuation? If so, join us! The course presents tips and techniques for improving routine messages and documents, reviews essential grammar and punctuation conventions, describes ways to approach a writing task, and provides revising and editing tricks from professional editors.

Participants should bring personal writing samples or personal working documents. This course is suitable for individuals in clerical, record-keeping, and supervisory positions, or anyone who spends time writing during the work.

One CEU is 10 contact hours of successful participation/completion in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

One credit hour is equal to 1.5 continuing education units.
