Discover the art of mediation. After completion of this 10 session course, you will become a
Qualified Mediator able to provide all mediation services recognized by the State Bar of Texas State jurisdictions. As a
Qualified Mediator you will develop an understanding of the phases of the mediation process and acquaint participants with the role of the Mediator as an impartial third party who facilitates communication between disputing parties. The course includes a special emphasis on Ethics (3 hours).
Participants should bring a lunch to each session and will be asked to purchase a textbook for $50.

One CEU is 10 contact hours of successful participation/completion in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
One credit hour is equal to 1.5 continuing education units.
