Open to all community members!
This course teaches introductory Mandarin Chinese language and culture. The origin of the language, basic greetings in Chinese, and Chinese traditions are the emphasis of this course. Participants will learn about the characters and tones used in the language, populations around the world that speak Chinese, and how to appropriately use chopsticks.

One CEU is 10 contact hours of successful participation/completion in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
One credit hour is equal to 1.5 continuing education units.
