Do you have a child interested in acting or theater? Tarleton State University's Theatre Department will offer classes this spring on the Stephenville campus for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Starting Jan. 20, the Lil’ Theatre at Tarleton will offer Saturday classes from 9 a.m. to noon in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center. Students will learn about acting, rehearsing, costumes, stage make-up and scenic painting. Classes conclude April 29.
As part of the course, students will prepare for a public performance at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 29.
Lil Theatre at Tarleton's mission is to provide an opportunity for youth to experience multiple facets of theatre-acting, basic set and costume design, and painting-all under the guidance of Tarleton theater faculty and majors.
