Billy the Kid Museum is proud to sponsor the Billy the Kid Rides Again Open Car Show, one of several very popular events held in Hico annually. The town comes alive with the arrival of the many show vehicles as they parade to their respective parking spots to be admired by thousands of spectators eager to participate in this exciting event.
Also at the the event are scores of vendors selling a variety of foods, goods, and services. Music from the '50's and '60's fills the air throughout the event as well as entertainment from a gunfighter group and an audience participation dance with a local group of line dancers.
Qualified judges examine each entry and a number of prizes are awarded to the various winners. We invite you to attend this event, either as a participant or as a spectator. We can assure you that you will not be disappointed!
