“World’s Greatest!” TV Show to film on April 28th at 281 Speedway!

NOTE - Due to rain in the forecast for April 21, the filming has been moved to April 28th!

“World’s Greatest!...” is a thirty minute show dedicated to highlighting the world’s greatest companies, products, places, and people. Each show is a fast-paced tour around the world featuring behind the scenes footage, informative interviews, and exciting visuals. As part of the show, How2Media will send a film crew to spend time at the track in Stephenville, Texas, Southwest of Ft. Worth, to get the story behind the story on C&S Promotions and 281 Speedway, and to show the “World’s Greatest!...” viewers why they were selected as the best in their category, and therefore featured on the show.

This will be the show’s 12th season and the episode featuring 281 Speedway will air approximately 90 days after filming is complete.

“281 Speedway by C&S Promotions is not just a favorite dirt track for racing, but it is truly an entertainment venue, a one-of-a-kind place to be on a Saturday night; exciting events involving the fans, interaction with the drivers, contests during intermissions, etc. We think their story will be meaningful, fun and entertaining for our viewers” said Gordon Freeman, Executive Producer of the show.

281 Speedway is a one-quarter of a mile dirt track for stock car racing established in 1989. Heather Combs and Joe Spillman of C&S Promotions recently took over managing and promoting the track. “We wanted to make this track the best out there and we’ve really turned it around in the last year,” Combs said. “We bring in between 500 to 700 people on the weekends and we’re open every weekend — unless it rains — from March to August and then we have a few big shows in November and February.”

Camera crews with How2Media will come to Stephenville on Saturday, April 28th to follow Combs and Spillman around and talk to racers, race crew members and fans along with shooting some B-roll footage during the Super Hero / Texas Sprint Series special event.
