    Job Description
    Qualifications:
    Experience in marketing, communications, social science or closely related field or documented experience in a nonprofit or agency setting.  Ability to work effectively and independently with others; to exercise discretion and independent judgment; to market program in variety of settings and to greet the public and represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.  Responsible for seeking and attending opportunities/events; possess excellent public speaking skills, social media skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and have a willing attitude in an area of service  
     
    Summary of Responsibility:
     Provide all services within the agency’s stated purpose and in such a manner that optimum results will be achieved in relation to the resources of the agency.  Also, provide program support as needed in areas such as public awareness, office management, and alternative financial sources. Conduct recruitment and retention efforts, development and maintain working relationships with volunteer advocates and maintain all web and social media pages.  Some travel and periodic nights and weekends required.
     
    Job Activities:   
    • Responsible for seeking and attending events/opportunities for awareness and recruitment; includes some nights and weekends.
    • Responsible for the implementation of all recruitment and retention strategies as developed by the executive director.
    • Record, report and prepare statistical reports of recruitment efforts to the executive director and Texas CASA.
    • Establish relations and communication with all four counties' community organizations, faith-based organizations, local businesses and public.
    • Initiate and maintain marketing strategies to target populated areas in all four counties, including in person at community events and though social media.
    • Set up and coordinate with Executive Director meetings for potential donors in face-to-face visits to cultivate, solicit and maintain support for CASA CTA.
    • Assist with planning and executing programs, events, activities that recognize volunteers and donors.
    • Develops and presents presentations for recruitment of volunteers and promotes CASA CTA’s stated mission.
    • Maintains and updates all social media platforms.
    • Creates and produce brochures, spotlights, and all creative content to promote CASA CTA.
    • Develop a list of monthly activities, including training to be sent to all volunteers each month.
    • Develop a donor base program to assist in communication with donors on quarterly basis.
    • Assist the executive director with all other duties and complete special projects as assigned.

    • Possess a focused and disciplined work ethic; be detail oriented and be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
    • Ability to lift, load, set up and take down special event materials including tent and tables as needed
    • Ability to work nights and weekends periodically.
    • High level skills with Microsoft Office 365 products and creative content programs.
    • Valid driver’s license, use of dependable vehicle and good driving record.
