CHAMBER AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
ABOUT THE CHAMBER AMBASSADORS
The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club is often referred to as the 'Action Arm' of The Chamber.
The purpose of the Ambassadors Club is to serve as the public relations arm and official host of The Chamber. This group of dedicated volunteers works to enhance the image of The Chamber and promote membership by attending Chamber and community events, visiting current and prospective Chamber members, and assisting Chamber staff with various programs and projects throughout the year.
WHO CAN JOIN THE AMBASSADORS CLUB?
If you are interested in joining this group of volunteers, please call The Chamber (254.965.5313) to request an application. A nominating committee will review all applications monthly and present them to the Club.
Listed below are the requirements for all Ambassadors Club Members:
Must represent a business or organization that is a Chamber member in good standing or be an individual Chamber member in good standing
Abide by the Standing Rules of the Ambassadors Club of the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce
Attend monthly meeting (typically held the third Tuesday of each month)
Pay annual dues of $102 ($30 + $6/meal/month) at the beginning of each year
Attend all meetings of the Club, including special meetings, unless excused
Attend Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breaking Ceremonies, Chamber Mixers, Sunrise Scramblers and other special Chamber events and meetings
Call on and encourage both new and existing business and non-member individuals to join the chamber
Be responsible for the purchase of the official apparel item of the Club
Wear Ambassador attire (Jacket, Name Tag, Shirt) to respective Ribbon Cuttings, Sunrise Scramblers, Chamber Mixers and other Chamber functions
Be responsible for expenses incurred in participating in official functions of the organization
Participate in other activities as requested by the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce President, Executive Committee, or Board of Directors
Each active member shall be required to accumulate for continued membership a prescribed number of points per year

BEULAH BROWN AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
One recipient is chosen per year and awarded for their active role in Ambassador activities, Chamber activities, community leadership, good citizenship, and for promoting Stephenville and Erath County.
