    Leadership Stephenville Graduates Class of 2016, Now Accepting Applications for Class of 2017

    The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Stephenville recently celebrated a year of community education and leadership development. Class members along with family, friends, sponsors and alumni enjoyed dinner at The N at Hardway Ranch as the graduates were recognized for completing the yearlong leadership program.

    The mission of the program is to expand understanding of leadership, broaden the knowledge of our greater community infrastructure, deepen the sense of quality within our community, and foster the responsibility of increased involvement in volunteer associations, neighborhoods, and the community as a whole. The curriculum focuses on the theory, practice and tools for effective leadership and their application to the cultural, economic, political and social dynamics of Stephenville. A series of nine full-day sessions offer learning opportunities and challenge participants to become actively involved in building a better tomorrow for Stephenville.

    Each class is required to work together on a project that benefits the community. The Class of 2016 has chosen to work together to create an outdoor seating area at the Stephenville Public Library to allow more children and their families to participate in educational and fun activities.

    If you are interested in applying for Leadership Stephenville and getting more involved with your community, the program is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 class!
