Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting celebrating the renovation and Grand Re-Opening of the Berry Cottage at the Stephenville Historical House Museum.
Through the efforts of the Stephenville Study Club and Twentieth Century Club, the Berry Cottage became the flagship structure for the Stephenville Historical House Museum in 1966.
The Ribbon Cutting and reception on Wednesday, Dec. 7, will celebrate the grand re-opening of the cottage following a fire in 2015. The stone structure built on the property in 1869 has been re-purposed as both an historical home and research library while also housing the museum’s valuable archives.
The reception will also salute the fifty years the museum has been serving the citizens of Erath County.
