Please join us in welcoming Annie's Therapeutic Companions to the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce with an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
Annie's Therapeutic Companions is a non-profit volunteer-based organization consisting of Pet Partners certified Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) teams that provide goal oriented, planned, structured & documented therapeutic intervention. They make regular consistent visits to hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities, senior living/assisted living, veterans' services, disaster shelters, schools, special needs classes in schools, and occupational therapy facilities that work with special needs children.
Lyndi Hanna, President & Founder, will introduce us to her Australian Shepherd Annie (who is registered as a "complex environment" Pet Partners therapy dog) and her miniature horse May Lillie (who is registered as a "complex environment" Pet Partners therapy horse.) In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet other teams in training!
