Name: Rape, Aggression, Defense (R.A.D.) Classes for Women
    Date: March 6, 2017
    Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST
    Event Description:
This is the first of 4 continuous sessions.

R.A.D. is taught at Tarleton State University during the fall & spring semesters. The instructors are Detective Kristie Bint, and Sgt. Amanda Miller and Molly Smith.

If you are attending this program please meet in the foyer of the Kinesiology Building (Wisdom Gym). From there you will be taken to the class location by the instructors.

The cornerstone of R.A.D. Systems is that this course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion, and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities.

    What is R.A.D.?
In 1989, Lawrence N. Nadeau founded Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Systems. He served as the organization's Executive Director until June of 1998, when he turned the organization over to four of his senior Female Staff Instructors.

Today, R.A.D. is a nationally recognized alliance of self-defense educators dedicated to enhancing defensive options for women and children, while developing their abilities to manage aggressive behavior. R.A.D. is the largest organization of its kind and it is the only such organization ever endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
