Downunder Horsemanship 10-Day Intermediate Clinic

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN 

• The second level of Clinton’s horsemanship method focuses on gaining even more control of the horse’s feet on the ground and achieving true lightness and suppleness in the saddle. Emphasis is placed on gaining control of the horse’s five body parts – the head and neck, poll, shoulders, ribcage and hindquarters – because total control of the horse’s body results in total confidence and collection. This clinic is being taught by Clinton’s Professional Clinicians.

FACILITIES 

• The Downunder Horsemanship Ranch has both outdoor and indoor arenas; weather will determine which are used. Your horse will be stabled in his own run, which includes a two-sided shelter, automatic waterer and feeder. Each run includes a tack locker with saddle rack, bridle hooks and hay pallet.

DAILY SCHEDULE 

• The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will include a two-hour lunch break.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Must submit a video application of you completing all of the Fundamentals groundwork and riding exercises on the horse you plan to participate in the clinic with in order to be approved.

EXTRA HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT 

• To ensure you receive the attention and assistance you need to make as much progress as possible, Clinton’s clinicians will be on hand to provide additional one-on-one help during the clinic and after hours.
