The community is invited to join together in a Thanksgiving Worship Service hosted by the Stephenville Ministers' Alliance.
This year's Community Thanksgiving Service will be celebrated at the First Baptist Church of Stephenville on Sunday, November 22 at 6:00 pm.
All community members across Stephenville and Erath County are invited to join together to thank the Lord for His provision and presence in our lives, churches, and community.
This year Wayne Hancock, minister of Cross Timbers Church of Christ, will preach our message. Jason Ogle from Grace Fellowship Church will lead a worship team made up of local musicians from various churches.
As a part of our 'thank you', we will take up a special offering as we do every year. This year we have decided to bless the ministry of "Homelessness HELP". It is a new ministry that is looking at ways to address the problem of homelessness in our community. They need funds to help families that are in need of shelter. With the difficulties brought on by the pandemic, more people in Erath county find themselves in an emergency need for a place to stay. These funds we give will be used to meet the needs of our local families.
