The 2017 Junior Livestock Show of Erath County is coming up Wednesday, January 4th thru Saturday, January 7th.
The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce is once again organizing a Buyer's Pool to help support the youth in our area. Ideally, we encourage all local businesses to go to the sale and see firsthand our youth at work, but if you are not able to attend, this is your opportunity to be involved.
The Chamber accepts donations as small as $25, with most giving $100 - $500, and some giving over $1,000. All donors will be recognized the night of the sale and in the newspaper and Chamber newsletter after the sale. Donors that give $1,000 or more will receive a special invitation to the Buyer’s Steak Dinner served by the youth exhibitors on Saturday, January 7th at 5:00 pm before the sale.

All funds will be used to support the youth and their animal projects at the Market sale. Last year we were able to invest over $25,000 in our youth. We encourage you to think about contributing even a small amount as they all add up. That is why this community is so special – when we work as a team, great things can happen in supporting our youth and recognizing their efforts.
The Chamber Pool will be used on the Market Animals which includes sheep, steers, swine, poultry, rabbits and goats.

Again, we encourage all businesses and individuals to come to the sale and support the youth in person – it is only if you can’t be there the night of the sale that we offer the opportunity to contribute through the Buyer’s Pool!
