- $5 feeds 1 hungry Erath County child for a weekend
- Weekends can mean hunger for many area kids who depend on school meals for primary nutrition.
- Each Friday, Backpack Buddies of Erath County delivers bags of child-friendly, non-perishable food to area schools to be sent home with students most at risk of weekend hunger.
This month, Backpack Buddies is providing weekend food for 270 of our children.
Weekend food for each child in the program costs:
- $30 for 6-week
- $90 for one semester
- $180 for school year
The Leadership Stephenville Class of 2017 is pleased to support the mission of Backpack Buddies by donating proceeds from this event to feed Erath County Kids in Erath County Schools.
